What we collect, and when
When you use our quote form
Your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), your location and postcode, the service you're asking about, garden size, number of dogs and cats, how often you'd like us to visit, any access details you share, anything you write in the additional information box, and how you heard about us.
When you message us on WhatsApp or call us
Your phone number, your name, and whatever you tell us in the conversation. WhatsApp messages are handled through WhatsApp itself. See “Messaging us on WhatsApp” below.
When you become a customer
The above, plus your address, your visit schedule, what we did on each visit, and a record of payments.
When you visit our website
Anonymous, aggregated statistics only: pages viewed, roughly where in the world visitors are, what device they used, and which site referred them. We don't use tracking cookies and we can't identify you from this. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.
Photos
If you send us a photo of your garden to help us quote, we keep it only as long as we need it to give you a price and complete the work.
We don't collect any special category data (health, ethnicity, beliefs and so on), and we don't buy personal data from third parties.

We won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to. If we ever do, every message will have a clear way to opt out.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
We share it only with:
- Our accountant and HMRC, for tax and accounting records
- Our website and analytics provider (Cloudflare), which hosts the site and provides anonymous visitor statistics
- Waste disposal facilities, where a Waste Transfer Note legally requires the producer's details. This applies to commercial customers
- Anyone we're legally required to share it with, such as a regulator or a court order

If you contact us through WhatsApp, that conversation is carried over WhatsApp's own service, which is operated by Meta. Your message is handled under WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy as well as this one. We keep the conversation as a record of your enquiry and your booking. If you'd rather not use WhatsApp, you can email or phone us instead.

| Customer records, invoices and payments | 6 years after your last transaction, as required for tax records |
| Waste transfer records | As required by waste regulations |
| Photos you send us | Deleted once the quote or job is complete, unless you've given us permission to use them |

Photos of your garden
If we'd like to use a photo of your garden on our website or social media, we'll ask you first, every time. We won't publish a photo of your property without your permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time by telling us.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy
- Have mistakes corrected
- Ask us to delete your information, where we don't need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons
- Ask us to restrict how we use it
- Object to us using it, where we're relying on legitimate interests
- Ask for your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is what we're relying on
To exercise any of these, email us at [EMAIL ADDRESS]. We'll respond within one month, and it's free.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first, we'd rather put it right. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Keeping your information safe
We keep customer records in access-controlled accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. Only Myles and Sabrina have access. We don't keep paper records of customer details beyond what's needed for a day's round, and those are destroyed afterwards.
Children
Our service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you think we have, please tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll tell existing customers directly.
